Pan Celtic Meeting 2011

The SMA will host the next Pan Celtic Meeting, when we look forward to welcoming our Welsh and Irish colleagues. Provisional arrangements have been made to hold the meeting on 17 - 19 June 2011 at Peebles Hydro Hotel. Arrangements to be confirmed as soon as possible.

About the Scottish Microbiology Association

The aims of the Scottish Microbiology Association (SMA), are

1. to promote clinical and scientific interest in Medical Microbiology in Scotland

2. to link with other Celtic microbiology associations.
The SMA is affiliated with the Welsh Microbiology Association (WMA) and the Irish Microbiology Society IMS). The SMA, WMA and IMS participate in a tripartite meeting which is held every two years at a venue in Scotland / Wales / Ireland by rotation.

At least one scientific meeting will be held each year, usually in conjunction with the AGM.
Associate Members and Members will be eligible for a reduction in the registration fee for scientific meetings organised by the Association.
